Love them (when I send them)
Look, I know I'm the worst. Still, voice messages are great when you need to explain something complicated or just can't be bothered typing. 3 stars, but only because I'm a hypocrite.
Just text me.
Sarah, can you just stop doing it? Nobody wants to listen to an endless breakdown of what you ate for lunch. Please. Texting exists for a reason.
Passive aggressive much?
My mate left me a 6 min message arguing about something I didn't even care about. By the time I finished listening I'd forgotten half of what he said and had no energy to reply. Voice messages are weaponised laziness.
Game changer for busy days
Voice messages are my go-to when I'm on the move. Last week I left a message explaining a whole work issue while walking my dog. They're brilliant when used sensibly but I swear if someone sends me 3 in a row about what color to paint their bathroom I'm out.
